FIREFIGHTERS RESPOND TO SMOKE AT BETHESDA COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL

Montgomery County firefighters responded to a potential fire at Bethesda Country Day School after 8:00 this morning. Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson Pete Piringer says smoke appears to be isolated to the boiler room in the basement. Students have been evacuated from the building at 5615 Beech Avenue.

Piringer says there is currently no fire at the school.
