I have one piece of information on the Springhouse of Westwood nursing home closure I reported this morning. Charlie Maier, of PR firm Maier & Warner, which represents landowner Equity One, said that the firm has no immediate development plans for the Springhouse property. "We are focused and are following the rezoning process," Maier wrote.
He said it is company policy not to comment on tenants or their leases.
This does mean that the concerns I expressed in my earlier piece remain valid, as once Springhouse closes, the property will be vacant and there are no immediate plans for it.
