MEET ARTIST ALEXANDRA NECHITA AT WENTWORTH GALLERY IN BETHESDA THIS SATURDAY

An artist who has had a career's worth of output and success in barely 30 years of life, Alexandra Nechita was a child prodigy whose art hangs in the private collections of David Letterman, Oprah Winfrey and Calvin Klein. This Saturday, you can meet Nechita as she brings her new collection, The Living Picasso, to Wentworth Gallery at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda.

Winner of the Van Gogh Institute's Gold Key award, Nechita also has works on display in exhibits as diverse as Bill Clinton's office and The Vatican. Painting in an abstract, modernist style, the Picasso comparison is just the starting point for this collection.
