BETHESDA ROW ARTS FESTIVAL 2014 PHOTO GALLERY

Artists took over Bethesda Row this past weekend, for the annual Bethesda Row Arts Festival. Art displays, music and food from both nearby restaurants and guest vendors combined with sunny - if cooler - weather for another successful festival. Ford had a product showcase at the event, which was fitting, as the carmaker once had a dealership on Elm Street where part of Bethesda Row is today.

TASTE OF BETHESDA 2014 PHOTO GALLERY + JALEO PAELLA VIDEO

Here are scenes from yesterday's Taste of Bethesda. Turnout, by my estimation, was very good, especially given the weather situation early in the morning. The public parking garage near Battery Lane was filled to capacity.

TASTE OF BETHESDA THIS SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11 - RESTAURANTS, MENUS

The biggest annual event in Bethesda is this Saturday, October 11, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Taste of Bethesda offers the chance to sample dozens of the best restaurants in town, in one compact street festival in the Woodmont Triangle. Plan your strategy using this handy menu.

There will also be live music on five stages around the Woodmont Triangle. There's no charge to enjoy any of the concerts.

Admission to the event is free, but to try the food, you'll need to purchase taste tickets. $5 gets you four tickets, and each "taste" at various restaurants' tents will cost you one to four tickets. Ticket sales end at 3:30 PM.

Don't miss the Back to Bethesda Car Show across Wisconsin Avenue at Chevy Chase Cars, and Rescue Day at the BCC Rescue Squad at Old Georgetown Road at Battery Lane. Both events coincide with the Taste of Bethesda Saturday.

Taste of Bethesda is hosted by Bethesda Urban Partnership, and this year's sponsors include Capital One, ArcLight Cinemas, Cadillac, Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club, L'Academie de Cuisine, DC's 107.3, WMAL, Bethesda Magazine, Washington Parent and Celebrity Cruises.
